With all the news this week that the Ralph Lauren produced Olympic outfits being made in China, including Harry Reid’s comment that they should all be destroyed and remade in America, I thought this parody by the “Capitol Steps” was appropriate:
Of course the United States Olympic Committee didn’t address the problem for this year, claiming insufficient time to make new outfits, but along with designer Ralph Lauren, they did commit to future outfits being made in America.
The parody also fits this story in another way. The “Capitol Steps” consists of many former staff members of various Senators and Representatives in Congress. They have since moved on into performing their parodies full-time.
