Once again, “Queen Sheila” has proved how out of touch she really is.
This time, a former legislative director, Mona Floyd, is suing the congresswoman, for refusing to recognize and accommodate for a disability in the work environment.
At the same time, the congresswoman berated Floyd, for taking too long to complete assignments, and limiting breaks required by the disability.
Floyd ultimately quit last fall, and filed the discrimination suit in June.
Jackson Lee has been a long time advocate of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and disabled American’s causes.
Now, she may have run afoul of the cause she supports.
